4 Dos' and Don'ts when going to Phuket Thailand and short review on Neutrogena Ultra Sheer PURE-MILD Sunscreen lotion

DOS'

1) DO bring lots of small change like 100 thai bath, 500 thai bath because you'll need it for taxi rides and tips etc

2) DO bring sunblock OR sunscreen with SPF of at least 30. I use SPF 50, PA+++
(They are different so do google them if you don't know the difference)

3) DO bring more clothes because I had to change twice a day due to the weather

4) DO bring a spray on sunblock if you plan to swim at the beach because the normal ones are harder to apply when you're wet. TRY AND TESTED

DON'TS

1) DON'T bother bringing too much makeup products with you if you are going there. Chances are, you're not gonna use most of them. If you do bring them, check no.4

2) DON'T be smart and not wear sunblock or sunscreen if you're going to the beach because we stayed at a beach for the whole morning and afternoon, my dad didn't want to use sunblock and his whole back and neck got sunburned and the skin started peeling off. Super painful

3) DON'T bother bargining with the taxi drivers there because you're probably not gonna get a lower price. The price is more or less fixed there for tourist

4) DON'T wear too much makeup when you're there because it's gonna melt in 10 minutes anyway

This is like the most make up I wore when I was there, LANEIGE Snow BB Soothing Cushion and 3CE'S LIP PIGMENT in #ISSUE as blusher and I drew my eyebrows.
And also, fringe and hair all pined up cuz its that hot in Phuket

But most of the days I just wear KIEHL'S Ultra Light UV Defense on my face and nothing else, no, not even contact lens

Yes, like this

And probably shaving the back part of my eyebrows off last year wasn't the brightest ideal I've had....
They don't actually grow back entirely... and you can't leave house without makeup during that period of time cuz you'll look ridiculous

So moving on, for body, I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer PURE-MILD Sunscreen lotion. Both are dermatologist tested.

I have been using the KIEHL'S one for 2 years now and it is one of my holy grail, go to produces I use almost everyday without fail
PS. Get the 60ml bottle when you see it because the smaller one runs out super fast
The 60ml is usually found in airports

For this product,Neutrogena Ultra Sheer PURE-MILD Sunscreen lotion, it doesn't blend easily onto your skin to be honest, I can see white streaks on my arms and legs if I don't take the time and blend them out carefully( which is why I've been running around Phuket with white patches on my legs and arms for the first 2 days)

One thing to note, it doesn't wash off easily, at least not with the hotel soap and shampools

Ending this post off with some selfies of the tiger and I xD

 Yup I think he's annoyed

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion

I know that a lot of people have already done reviews on this product SO, I'll do like a really short, summarised version instead then xD

- What I feel about this product

1) The coverage I would say is light to medium depending on how many layers you apply, for me I normally apply about 2 layers and it still look super natural and it also covers my acne scars without me having to apply concealer but I suggest if you have really dark under eye circles, you should still apply some concealer

2) This product is super moisturising so you don’t have to worry about your makeup looking caky etc. BUT, it will form lines on your eyelids so you have to set it with powder or your makeup’s probably goanna melt once you set out of the house

3) If you want to get ‘Korean skin’, as in skin that looks super moist and a little shinny like the ones you see on Korean celebrities, then you should give this product a try. Normally, to achieve that kind of skin, I would use facial oil and apply it to my skin followed by foundation but with this product, you only need one step

4) Lastly, it is easy to use and really convenient and it also smells really nice

This is it for my review on Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion!

·       In case anyone’s wondering, I’m using NO.21 in Natural Beige

I have tried this product for a couple of months already and a new one has launched since so I’ll probably get that one soon and maybe write another review? XD

Anyways, so sorry for the lack of update but I’ll be updating lot more regularly with more product reviews and makeup tutorials.

I have stacked up a ton of makeup products that I’m goanna review on and hopefully you guys will be interested! (:

Etude House Dear Girls Cute Eyes Maker Product Review

Today I’m gonna do a product review on Etude House’s new cute eyes maker.

 *Picture from Etude House*

I had been waiting for it to come out ever since I saw it on a Taiwanese blogger’s blog because I haven’t seen anything like that before (I sound a bit lame but it’s true! xD)

So when it came out, I immediately rushed down to the shop and got one.

After testing it out for some time, I came to the conclusion that it is good in terms of drawing a really natural aegyo sal but the ‘bad’ thing is that because the tip of the sponge for the brown shadow is so thick that if you are not careful, you’ll look like you have really dark eye circles xD

This is a comparison of the aegyo sal that I drew with the etude house cute eyes maker and the next one I used brown eyeshadow and etude house’s Line Nuance Duo #01 Honey Beige & White Line

This picture is taken at dinner time so you can see that the aegyo sal I drew is almost gone

This picture is also taken around dinner time but I drew the aegyo sal with eyeshadow

I think at the end of the day it really depends on whether you prefer a more natural aegyo sal or a more obvious one

Personally for me, this is a pretty good product if you are just learning to draw aegyo sal because it is lighter and easier to wipe off if you over done it because if you want to draw aegyo sal with eyeshadow, it is easier for you to make mistake due to the brown eyeshadow

I will do a tutorial on how to draw aegyo sal with different
 colored eyeshadows soon so please stay tuned!  (;

3CE product review & 3 Ways to do a Korean Gradient Lip

So, as promised a Korean Gradient Lips Tutorial!

This are the 3 ways that I use most often and frankly the techniques are all very similar xD

You don’t have to use the exact same lipstick colour that I am using to do this tutorial. Something similar will do.

So, let’s get started!

These are the products we are going to use today.

1)    Vaseline

2)    Bobbi brown Face Touch Up Stick In Warm Beige

3)    3 Concept Eyes #402 Fuchsia

4)    Ettuais Lip Essence

5)    Peripera Tint Lip in #02 Orange

6)    3 Concept Eyes #405 Glass Pink

7)    Channel Rouge Coco Shine #62 Monte-Carlo
For the first look, we are going to use 3CE #402 Fuchsia to create the gradient lips

Step 1: Apply Vaseline to your lips to make them soft and moist for smoother application of the lipstick later on

Step 2: Apply concealer to your lips to cover up your original lip colour

Step 3, Apply Fuchsia to the inner part of your lips and blend outwards

And we’re done with our look number 1!

Moving on to our second look, we are going to

use the tip tint and clear lip gloss

Repeat step 1 and 2

Step 3: Apply the orange lip tint onto the inner part of your lips and blend outwards.
Step 4: Apply a layer of clear lip gloss over your lips

And that is the second way to do a Korean Gradient Lips!

And moving on to the third look, we are going to
use 3CE #405 Glass Pink and Channel Rouge
Coco Shine #62 Monte-Carl

Repeat step 1 and 2 again

Step 3: Apply Glass Pink onto your lips
Step 4: Apply Monte-Carl onto the inner part of your lips and blend outwards

This are my 3  ways to do a Korean Gradient Lips

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial!

Now for the product review, the two 3CE lipsticks' color are really gorgeous and they are not too dry but I still suggest that you apply lip blam before applying lipstick.
